Who We Serve

Your Story Matters. We’re Here to Help.

Adults

None of us experience life without facing some profound challenges. Whether we find ourselves dealing with issues related to relationships, finances, career, loss, health, or any of the many stressors that life presents, it’s not uncommon to find ourselves struggling to figure out what to do or where to go next.

Children & Adolescents

Our goal is to help young people discover ways to be well balanced, comfortable in their own skin and build capacity to handle everyday stressors. We focus on working to understand a child’s internal world to be able to help them put words to feelings, thoughts, sensations and communicate more effectively, whether it’s through play, drawing, or talking.

Couples

Relationships can be the source of so much joy and strength. But even strong and healthy relationships often require hard work. There are many forces that affect all of us–like finances, work stress or unemployment, parenthood, infidelity, sexual dissatisfaction, etc.–and healthy relationships can sometimes feel impossible.

Families

No one is an island. Every family consists of an interconnected, interdependent group of unique individuals where each person’s well-being will affect everyone else’s.

When everything is going smoothly, families enjoy balance and harmony. However, it’s easy for friction and shared or individual challenges to interfere with family relationships.

Senior Citizens

As you age, you will likely experience significant changes–deaths of loved ones, retirement, new living arrangements, stressful events and/or medical problems. It’s normal to feel lonely, sad or down about these changes. But when they disrupt your daily functioning or go on too long, the cumulative effects may trigger or perpetuate a mental health condition that needs to be addressed.

Telehealth Options

In-Person and Virtual Counseling

We offer both in-person and/or virtual counseling sessions. Both are HIPAA-compliant. Virtual (on-line) therapy consists of meeting with your therapist via a video conferencing platform on your computer, tablet or phone. Virtual counseling (teletherapy) is a relatively new way to receive care. If you’re thinking about it, here are some benefits to consider:

  • Convenience in meeting with a therapist from the comfort of your own home
  • No time spent traveling to appointments
  • Access to care providers with specialized expertise regardless of their geographic location

Many insurance companies now cover virtual therapy. Always check with your insurance provider regarding your coverage for mental health services.
