Michael is a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Michael has volunteered in a number of helping roles, including crisis line, runaway/homeless shelters, paramedic/firefighter, and church ministry. Michael also has 30+ years working in the SMB and corporate business world as an IT professional with an understanding of balancing work and family responsibilities.
Michael has experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds with a variety of presenting problems such as ADHD, anxiety, autism, and OCD. Michael implements a variety of treatment modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, and Pastoral Counseling.
Michael enjoys spending time with family, camping, traveling, exercising, praying, visiting amusement parks, and gardening.
